HOW THE DIRECTORY WORKS

A useful review tells a real service story

The review section is for first-hand experiences with the company on the page. Both positive and negative accounts can be useful.

01

Describe the interaction

Explain what service you used, when the experience occurred and how the company responded. Give the rating that reflects your own experience. A public booking number, account reference or employee’s personal details are not needed to make the account specific.

02

Keep promotion and private details out

Do not advertise unrelated services or telephone numbers, copy someone else’s review, invent an outcome or include confidential information. Threats, discriminatory abuse and material submitted without permission are not suitable for publication.

03

Moderation before publication

New reviews enter a pending queue. The publisher checks relevance, privacy and compliance with these standards before publishing. This assessment does not verify every factual claim or prove that a transaction took place. An empty section remains empty rather than being filled with generated reviews.

04

The same standard for different opinions

Criticism is not a reason by itself to reject a review. Praise and complaints are evaluated under the same rules. A submission may be withheld, corrected with the contributor or removed when privacy, authenticity or relevance concerns justify doing so.

05

Raise a concern about a review

Use the report option or the publisher contact route to identify the review and explain the concern. Reports are considered by the publisher; a report alone is not proof that the review is false. Company service issues should also be directed to the company’s own contact channels.
